Michael van Gerwen has won the third UK Open qualifier in Wigan with a 6-1 triumph over James Wade.
The world number one, who also won Saturday's event, dropped just 14 legs in seven matches as he steamrollered through the stacked draw.
After a 6-1 victory over Stephen Bunting earned him a place in the last eight, he overcame Vincent van der Voort before edging a last-leg decider with Robert Thornton.
He dropped the opening leg against Wade in the final before storming back with six legs in a row and an average of just below 100 to complete an impressive three days in the North-West.
Wade had earlier defeated Peter Wright and Adrian Lewis before succumbing to the Dutchman.
