TNT Sports has scored the UK and Irish rights to the Asia Cup, the six-nation cricket tournament starting later this month.
Co-hosts Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be joined by Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Nepal for the 50-over ODI event, split into two groups of three for the initial stage, with the top four advancing to a second group stage to determine the two finalists.
Trojan Paillot, SVP of rights and acquisitions at WBD Sports Europe, said: "The addition of more top-flight cricket featuring superstars from the world of Asian cricket is great news for cricket fans and TNT Sports subscribers in the UK and Ireland."
Harry Griffith of Disney Star, which held the global rights and agreed the deal, added: "This is an exciting development for cricket fans in the UK and Ireland. India-Pakistan is the most eagerly anticipated and highest-rated match on the global cricket calendar. We're thrilled to associate with TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland."
The Asia Cup gets underway in Multan, Pakistan on August 30.
