Billy decides to hold a surprise birthday party for Stevie at The Vic, explaining to Will that Stevie and his long-lost mum Val share the same birthday.
Teddy gives Stevie a card and warns him to stop lying to Billy as an intrigued Phil listens in. At The Vic, Stevie's overwhelmed by all of the effort as Billy gives a heartfelt speech and wishes his mum well, wherever she is. Having instructed Ritchie to do some digging, Phil takes Stevie aside and shows him the evidence he has. Knowing the game is up, Stevie takes Phil, Billy and Teddy back to No. 18 and admits to Billy that his mother is dead.
Also: Denzel bunks off school and goes to the gym, where he starts experiencing pains, while Priya accidentally reveals to Nugget that he may need dialysis.

Teddy and Billy are in shock as Stevie tells them the tragic story of how Val died. Teddy urges Billy not to let the revelation rob them of their new-found relationship. Later, when Billy talks to Will, the teen misunderstands the situation and reveals that Phil framed Stevie over the charity money, leaving Billy raging.
Levi tells Yolande that the CPS have decided to charge Pastor Clayton with two counts of sexual assault. Denzel walks in and Yolande decides to tell him the truth about the Pastor before begging him to accept help himself.
Also: Reiss gets a call telling him that Debbie's care fees are three months overdue, while Bobby is insistent that he doesn't want any fuss for his 21st birthday.

Stevie apologises to Billy and Teddy for everything he's done and reveals that he's leaving Walford.
Stevie asks Mo to do him a favour - and when Phil discovers that his car is missing, he calls the police.
Facing an 18 grand bill for unpaid care fees, Reiss decides to rent the spare room to bring in extra cash but an unimpressed Sonia finds out and quickly puts a stop to the scheme. Things start to look up, however, when Sharon offers Reiss some work chasing her outstanding invoices.
Bobby tells Peter that he's in no mood to celebrate his 21st birthday. Meanwhile, Peter and Cindy grow suspicious of Ian's cagey behaviour and when confronted, he tells them that he's thinking of running for the council again.
Kat and Alfie are saddened when Tommy admits that he feels hurt that Phil doesn't seem bothered with him any more.
Also: Howie accompanies Denzel to the doctor's to talk about steroid withdrawal.

An angry Phil continues to alienate everyone around him.
Billy and Teddy throw a Mitchell family meal at Walford East but don't invite Phil, although he attends anyway after Jay invites him. Teddy tries to smooth things over with everyone but things turn when Phil makes scathing remarks about Stevie and Harry enjoys winding Phil up about his missing car.
Reiss takes advantage of some creative accounting to bring in extra cash while calling in Sharon's debts, but feels guilty when she pays him extra for dealing with her affairs at short notice.
Also: Teddy dials up the charm offensive on Sharon, Peter catches Ian out in his council lies and Jean suggests to Kat that she needs to get Tommy a job to keep him out of trouble.
