David Wicks is back in Walford.

Cindy's reeling when she spots David and does her best to keep hidden, but it proves futile and before too long they find themselves face to face. Believing Cindy to be long since dead, how will David react?

Denise has a heart to heart with Yolande, who talks to her about the importance of honesty and truth. Spurned on by Yolande's words, a guilty Denise braces herself to come clean to Jack about the club crush.

Also: Ian admits to Peter and Lauren that he fumbled his marriage proposal to Cindy.

David and Cindy catch up on the events of the last two decades, but when Ian finds out that his half-brother is back in town, he's horrified.

Ian visits Anna to make amends and reveals to her that he has a surprise in store for Cindy.

Kathy catches Tommy in the act of trying to steal from the café and informs Kat.

Kat tries to reprimand Tommy but it falls on deaf ears as he physically intimidates her.

Also: Jack agrees to let Penny look after Amy but puts his foot in it with a tactless comment and ends up rowing with Penny again.

Phil's surprised when Tommy is viciously rude to Kat on Jay's 30th birthday, ruining the mood. Later, Kat tries again to talk to Tommy about stealing from the café but the row escalates and when he tries to leave, Kat grabs him...
