Monday, September 30 (Episode 6987)

Cindy encourages Anna to pursue things with Freddie. Later, the pair agree to go on a bird watch together - but just as friends.

After learning that another woman has come forward with an allegation about Pastor Clayton, Yolande distracts herself by going for a walk and is sufficiently buoyed to attend the Community Centre for the Harvest Festival celebrations. She receives a warm welcome from Levi - and even Agatha - but then Stella arrives demanding that Yolande retract her lies, prompting Yolande to share some home truths. Later, back at home, Yolande gets a knock at the door and Pastor Clayton barges in...

Bianca continues to charm Reiss and takes the opportunity of him being out of the room to read a mystery letter he had been hiding.

Debbie's parents arrive for the will reading and Reiss asks Bianca to leave the room, but she secretly listens in and is shocked by some of Debbie's final requests.

Also: Alfie loses his job at the bookies after closing up in order to give Tommy a talking-to.

Tuesday, October 1 (Episode 6988)

Pastor Clayton asks Yolande to change her statement but she is steadfast - and he soon scarpers when Denzel arrives home. Later, Patrick and Yolande prepare to call it a night when the police arrive with some shocking news - Pastor Clayton has committed suicide.

After Debbie's will reading, Bianca heads to the café to speak to Brenda and Hugh to find out more about their daughter's marriage to Reiss.

Bianca hides Freddie's bird-watching microphone at No.25 with the intention of recording a confession from Reiss.

Anna and Freddie return from an afternoon of bird-watching to The Vic and are met with disapproval from Ian. Cindy leaves in a huff and makes excuses to visit Beale's Eels so that she can hook up with Junior.

Also: George's efforts to bond with Kojo fall flat, while Tommy puts on a pretence of good behaviour in front of Alfie and Kat.

Alfie gets an unexpected surprise at the job interview to become manager of the Minute Mart.

Also: Kojo's attitude softens when George shows him the ropes behind the bar.
