EastEnders favourite George Knight (Colin Salmon) will meet his long-lost brothers for the first time this autumn, it has been confirmed.
In a storyline that played out earlier this year, George discovered the truth about his Ghanaian heritage - in addition to the shock revelation that he had two brothers that he never knew about.
Now the two brothers are due to arrive in Walford, via their mother's old friend Angela, hoping to forge a relationship with George and his own family.
Kobina (Jonathan Nyati) struggles to cope with the situation and returns to Ghana shortly after arriving, but Kojo (Dayo Koleosho) - who is autistic - is keen to remain in London and George offers to take him in.
"We're delighted to welcome Dayo and Jonathan to EastEnders to play Kojo and Kobina as we continue to explore George's story," said the soap's exec producer Chris Clenshaw.
"These are three brothers who were torn apart by tragedy and have a lot of complex emotions to come to terms with. When Kobina decides to leave, Kojo chooses to stay, which gives George the chance to be a big brother and also take on caring responsibilities."
Koleosho, who has previously appeared in Casualty and Doctors, said of the role: "It's been absolutely amazing - I'm loving every minute of working with the cast and crew. It's an incredible storyline for Kojo and his family. It is a dream that has become reality.
"There are many surprises and I'm taking every opportunity to work creatively with other talented actors."
Koleosho has joined the cast of the show as a series regular while Nyati will guest star in a handful of episodes. body check tags ::
