Charity finds a teary Belle outside the Woolpack and encourages her to open up, but when Belle sees Tom coming she pushes Charity away and runs home. Tom berates Charity for pushing Belle, claiming that she's struggling with her mental health. Later, Tom makes a secret phone call to confirm that he wants to interview doe a job in Wales...
Cain and Moira apologise to each other and agree to work as a team moving forward.

Alone, Laurel suddenly feels dizzy and collapses onto the floor. Gabby finds her struggling to breathe and calls an ambulance. Meanwhile, as Jai gears up to speak to Suni, he's interrupted by a call from Gabby informing him about Laurel's collapse.
Charles gets hammered at the pub - but Ruby's concerned when Caleb brings him back to theirs to sleep it off.
Sarah agrees to go for lunch with Josh, but she's left embarrassed when Cain and Moira catch them out and Cain sends Josh packing.

Later, Charles gives Caleb a lift but gets emotional and pulls over. They go for a walk in the woods where it becomes clear that Charles has an ulterior motive for the detour - he thinks Caleb was responsible for the hit and run on Ethan. What will Caleb say?
Robbo tries to get a handle on Matty, who's been keeping his head down, but Les manages to get him to leave. After seeking advice from Les on how to deal with the other inmates, Matty decides to reveal to his cellmate that he is transgender. Les is understanding but warns Matty that others may not be as kind.
Paddy invites Marlon and Rhona round for a games night but Mandy is unenthused and ends up winding everyone up.
