Katie Price vows to continue pursuing music career

Katie Price reveals that she has bought new home recording equipment as she gears up for a new attempt at becoming a popstar.

Katie Price has revealed that she has bought new recording equipment as she continues to pursue a music career.

The former glamour model has had several stabs at becoming a singer, unsuccessfully attempting to represent the UK at Eurovision in 2005 and releasing a covers album with her then-husband Peter Andre in 2006.

Price has been mocked on social media for her attempts to make it big in the music industry, but in a new interview with FUBAR Radio, she has revealed that she is undeterred by the negative noise.

"Obviously I muck about on Instagram. And when I say I want to be on The Masked Singer, I want to be on The Voice, then everyone takes the mickey out of me saying, 'Oh shut up Kate. You really think you can sing?'" she said.

"I'm like, 'yeah, I can actually'. And they're like, 'Well, I dunno what you hear', and I'm like 'Well, I'm not giving up, I'm going to do it.'

"I've now bought myself a studio for YouTube. So I'm going to do my like karaoke versions, acoustic versions of songs I want to do.

"I'm not giving up. I'm going to do it... If you don't want to hear it, don't tap on and listen!"

Last year Price was said to be recording a new album described as "more of a dance record".
