Laurence Fox is reportedly in the lineup for a new Channel 4 show that will see celebrities locked up in a simulation of a real prison.

The actor turned politician and GB News presenter will be paired up in a cell with a former convicted criminal as part of the social experiment.

Called HMP, the show will also feature former MP Neil Parish, who quit the House of Commons after admitting to watching porn in the chamber, having accidentally came across it while searching for information about tractors on his phone.

"Laurence and Neil are both on board for HMP and will be locked up later this month," a source told The Sun.

"Both have said they're excited about the challenge and will be living like real-life prisoners, with proper ex-criminals.

"Laurence is a really divisive figure and there will be a lot of people tuning in to watch him get a bit of fictional justice."

The source added: "Both Laurence and Neil will be paired up with a former prisoner and locked up in a cell to get an idea of what prison is really like."

The show is expected to begin filming later this month for broadcast on Channel 4 later in the year. body check tags ::
