Aberdeen defender Mark Reynolds has been ruled out of action for up to 12 weeks due to a dislocated shoulder.
The 28-year-old is expected to undergo surgery after suffering the problem during his side's draw with Shkendija in Europa League qualifying last week.
"Mark went to see a specialist yesterday and will get operated on on Friday in Glasgow. He will be out until the start of October certainly, 10-12 weeks," manager Derek McInnes is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "There's a dislocation there but the severity of it means he requires an operation."
Aberdeen play the second leg of their tie with Shkendija at Pittodrie Stadium on Thursday.
