Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has revealed that Peter Pawlett has been passed fit for this weekend's Scottish League Cup final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The midfielder, 23, was forced to miss Saturday's win over Dumbarton in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals due to a hip injury.
"Peter will be fit," McInnes is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "He hasn't trained with the squad but has done everything the physio has expected of him.
"The physios are confident that he'll be good to go. They wouldn't give him back to us if they didn't think he was fit."
Aberdeen take on Inverness at Celtic Park on Sunday.
