AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri expects Serie A to be more competitive next season.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has conceded that Juventus will be the favourites for the Serie A title next season.

However, the 45-year-old believes that "six other sides" will be in the mix for Europe come the end of the campaign.

"Juve will be the favourites. They've brought in some important players from Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente to Angelo Ogbonna," Football Italia quotes him as saying.

"Milan know it will be harder than last season. Apart from Juve, there are six other sides who will be fighting for a place in the Champions League."

Milan finished third in Serie A last season.
