AC Milan Primavera youth coach Cristian Brocchi has denied reports that he has held talks to take over from Filippo Inzaghi.
The current AC boss has found things tough going with his side currently sitting in 10th spot in the Serie A standings, while some reports in the press have suggested that Inzaghi's days at the San Siro are now numbered.
"I've never talked about this. My objective so far has been to prepare the Primavera the best I can," Brocchi told Sky Italia, according to Goal.com.
"I'm thinking as the coach of the Primavera and I think I'll continue to be just that. Would I say 'yes' to Galliani? I hope for a positive atmosphere. I want the best for Milan.
"I'm very proud of what I'm doing with the Primavera and it's great work. I think the coach in charge so far, has always given his all to get out of this difficult spell."
Brocchi has a long history with AC having spent his playing days at the club, before becoming the Primavera youth coach following his retirement from the game.
