AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has dismissed reports suggesting that he has fallen out with coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Allegri's comments that his objective for this season is a top-three finish in Serie A and not the title reportedly irritated the Milan official, who was supposed to meet him this weekend.
"I called Max to tell him the dinner was off," Galliani told La Gazzetta dello Sport on the postponed meeting on Saturday. "It's ridiculous, there is too much media focus around what was a perfectly normal summertime dinner.
"Now the papers are trying to make this into the dinner of peace, or maybe of war, but the truth is that there is absolutely no war here to talk about.
"Anyway, who knows if we'll meet up for breakfast or even lunch."
Milan lost their opening match of the Serie A season 1-0 to Sampdoria at home, but bounced back with a 3-1 away win against Bologna.
