Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-yueng has reportedly edged closer to completing a transfer to AC Milan.
Last month, the Italian giants were said to have held initial talks with the South Korean international, who has less than six months remaining on his contract at the Liberty Stadium.
Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal has reiterated that Ki remains committed to trying to keep Swansea in the Premier League but according to Calciomercato, negotiations have - so far - been successful.
The report claims that while no move has been finalised, a deal is said to have been agreed ahead of a medical taking place in the coming weeks.
Milan must meet FFP regulations, leaving the Italian giants needing to place a large focus on free transfers, while the club could also benefit commercially in Asia with Ki being one of the star men for South Korea.
