Manchester City have reportedly offered AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic a deal that would make him the highest-paid footballer in British history.
Ibrahimovic, who was targeted by City boss Roberto Mancini last summer, is said to be available for a £25m transfer fee.
The English champions have proposed a £300,000-a-week contract to 30-year-old Swede and he has requested time to consider the move, according to The Sun.
Yaya Toure is currently the highest-paid player in the Premier League, earning £250,000 per week.
