AC Milan are targeting Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, according to reports.

AC Milan are reportedly ready to make a move for Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Rossoneri hierarchy are believed to be writing up a shortlist of the world's best young talent and according to Tuttosport, Calhanoglu will be their first target.

Milan are reportedly looking to add to their options in the attacking-midfield position and it is suggested that the 21-year-old would be their ideal signing to fill that void.

Calhanoglu has scored three goals and created one assist in eight appearances for Bayer Leverkusen in all competitions this season.
