AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has revealed that the club are in negotiations with Inter Milan over the sale of Antonio Cassano.
Cassano has spent the past 18 months at Milan, but it is understood that he is keen to complete a deal with their rivals – with Giampaolo Pazzini heading in the opposite direction.
"There is a negotiation ongoing with Inter, it is useless to deny it. In the past there have been many exchanges between the two Milan's clubs. There are two weeks until the end of the market. Something will happen," he told Mediaset.
Cassano scored four goals for Milan last season.
