Alexandre Pato has said that he is not leaving Tianjin Quanjian to return to AC Milan during the January transfer window.
The Brazilian has been linked with another spell at San Siro, with the 29-year-old having previously enjoyed a six-year period with the Italian giants between 2007 and 2013.
A report by La Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that Milan would prefer to sign Pato over Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but the forward has indicated that he is remaining in China.
On Twitter, Pato said: "I never said I'm leaving Tianjin Quanjian. I never said I was coming back to Sao Paolo. And I never said I was going to Milan."
Pato scored 51 goals in 117 appearances in Italy's top flight during his previous time at the club.
