AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini has revealed that Juventus and Napoli both wanted to sign him in the past.
The Italy international joined the Rossoneri from city rivals Inter Milan last summer.
"I have a good relationship with Juventus director general Beppe Marotta because we have known each other for a long time," Pazzini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"There were no direct conversations, but, in a few transfer sessions, we were close even if no deal was eventually done.
"Napoli? There was something with them last summer, as well as a few years earlier."
Pazzini has scored 12 goals in 22 Serie A appearances so far this season.
