Valencia loanee Adil Rami has admitted that he wants to join AC Milan on a permanent basis.
The 28-year-old, who moved to the Rossoneri until the end of the season in January, said that he is keen to prolong his stay at the San Siro.
"I went four months without playing and that was a tough period for me. I've worked hard to be ready and I have a strong character," he told the club's official website. "Credit as well to my teammates who always gave me confidence and the coach too. It's very important for a player.
"My dream is to stay here and do all I can for the team. I think it's a dream for any player to be here. The priority for me is to defend at the back rather than score.
"Of course, I'm also big and strong which helps to get the ball in the back of the net as well. I want and I have to continue to do well for this club. I want to give 100%."
Rami found the back of the net as Milan claimed a 2-0 win over Sampdoria in Serie A at the weekend.
