Parma full-back Cristian Zaccardo is expected to undergo a medical with AC Milan tomorrow ahead of a proposed swap deal involving Djamel Mesbah.
The Italian international will sign a five-year deal with the Rossoneri, according to his agent Alessandro Moggi.
As part of the deal, Algerian international Mesbah will link up with Roberto Donadoni's squad in Emilia-Romagna.
"Milan is a great opportunity for Zaccardo and a real high point in his career," Moggi told "His contract will be to June 2017, as Milan have bought out the existing deal from Parma. Zaccardo hasn't given up on anything." The 31-year-old's arrival at the San Siro is seen as a direct replacement for Ignazio Abate, who is expected to join Zenit St. Petersburg.
