Accrington Stanley defender Michael Liddle has agreed a new one-year contract with the club.
The 23-year-old moved to the Crown Ground last summer from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee.
Liddle follows Will Hatfield, George Miller, Ian Dunbavin, Laurence Wilson, James Gray and Dean Winnard in signing fresh terms with the League Two side.
"It's a brilliant club with brilliant lads and I can see it getting even better this year," Liddle told BBC Sport.
"We work hard for each other on and off the pitch. I think it's going to be a fun, enjoyable and successful year.
"I think once you come here you find it is different to a lot of clubs and you fall in love with it a bit. It's a great place to play your football and I think that's why a lot of lads come back."
Liddle made 36 appearances for Stanley last season.
