AFC Wimbledon have confirmed that goalkeeper James Shea has penned a 'long-term' contract extension with the club.
The 23-year-old has played in every game for the League Two outfit so far this season.
Shea, who started his career at Arsenal, joined the Dons from non-League side Harrow Borough in the summer.
"He has shown great application to be at the level he is at now and that's ahead of where we hoped he would be," manager Neal Ardley told the club's official website.
"We are delighted to tie James up for a longer term. Good goalkeepers are at a premium these days and they're tough to find. We believe we've got a very good goalkeeper."
Wimbledon are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Morecambe in the league.
