Ajaccio have made it 15 games without a win and five league defeats in a row after being beaten 2-0 by Nice this evening.
The hosts took the lead after just five minutes when Christian Bruls somehow squeezed the ball in from a free kick almost on the corner flag.
Eduardo sos Santos came close to levelling things up for the visitors shortly afterwards, but his effort from the edge of the box was well saved by David Ospina.
Guillermo Ochoa was called into action at the other end just three minutes later when Didier Digard found space to shoot inside the area having been picked out by Bruls, but the Ajaccio keeper was equal to his shot.
Eduardo had another good chance for the visitors in the 19th minute, but he failed to steer his effort on target from nine yards out.
The hosts could have been 2-0 up 10 minutes after the restart when Fabrice Abriel had a go from the edge of the six-yard box, but he hit his effort straight at the keeper, who made the save.
They did get their second of the night in the closing stages, however, as Dario Cvitanich sealed all three points for his side in second-half stoppage time with a low finish into the corner from 10 yards.
