Ajax manager Frank de Boer has insisted that his side will be going all-out to beat Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night.
The Dutch champions have performed above expectations in this season's Champions League, taking four points from Manchester City in their two group matches.
De Boer's men need all three points at home to Dortmund to maintain any realistic hope of qualifying for the knockout stages, a result he believes Ajax are capable of achieving.
He told reporters: "We don't want to aim for a draw because we want to stay in the Champions League.
"Maybe we will be satisfied with a point if there are 10 minutes left and we are drawing, but not before the match.
"Dortmund are comparable with Ajax. They always want to play football and they do this with a relatively young squad. If we play our own style, I think we can create chances. But it's going to be tough, that's for sure."
Jurgen Klopp's team top Group D ahead of tomorrow night's fixtures, with Ajax three points behind Real Madrid in the final qualification place.
