Eredivisie leaders Ajax drew 2-2 against FC Twente at De Grolsch Veste this evening, thanks to a Nemanja Gudelj penalty 10 minutes from time.
Felipe Gutierrez got Twente off to a flyer, lashing the ball into the corner of the net after a smart corner by Hakim Ziyech.
Ziyech then doubled his side's lead after the break with a spot kick, after Gudelj was deemed to have played the ball with his hand inside the penalty area.
Viktor Fischer pulled one back for Ajax when Riechedly Bazoer split the defence with a fine pass, allowing Fischer to slip the ball past Joel Drommel.
Young keeper Drommel, who was making his debut for Twente, then fouled Yaya Sanogo in the box, allowing Gudelj to step up and smash the ball in for the equaliser.
Both teams surged forward to try and find a winner but it was Twente who remain without a win so far this season.
The draw means Ajax remain at the top of the league, while Twente flounder in 16th place.
