Angers goalkeeper Ludovic Butelle has talked up his time at the club by insisting that he has found a fitting environment to work in after a tough start to his footballing career.
As a young keeper Butelle almost lost his life after rupturing his spleen during a tackle, but the 32-year-old has stated that he is enjoying life to the full after building a career at the newly-promoted Ligue 1 club.
"It's a nice fightback," Butelle told The Ligue 1 Show.
"I feel I have had a tough time in my career but I was lucky enough to find a fitting environment here at Angers which has given me another chance to play in Ligue 1. Life is beautiful, make the most of it."
Angers have made a positive start to life in the French top flight, securing eight points from their first five games in the league.
