Angers have extended their unbeaten run to five games after they came from behind to draw 1-1 at home against Bordeaux.
Wahbi Khazri forced a good save after cutting inside the box but his curling effort was denied by Ludovic Butelle.
Billy Ketkeophomphone had the first chance for the home side as he took aim from just inside the box but Cedric Carrasso was equal to the low strike.
Bordeaux went ahead just before half time as Jaroslav Plasil crossed the ball into the box. Diego Rolan beat Butelle to it and glanced a header over the goalkeeper and into the open goal.
Despite an uneventful second half, Angers equalised with seven minutes remaining as Romain Thomas beat Carrasso to a corner and nodded home for the hosts.
The hosts could have stolen all three points in the final minutes but Carrasso denied a late Goran Karanovic effort as both sides shared the spoils.
The point moves Angers back above Monaco into second in Ligue 1, while Bordeaux rise to 14th.
