Angers have maintained their impressive Ligue 1 form with a 2-0 win away to Lyon this evening.
Two goals from Cheikh Ndoye was enough for the French league's surprise package, and the win moves the visitors up to second in the division.
Ndoye opened his account on 18 minutes with Angers' first shot of the afternoon, and the midfielder almost doubled his tally with a free kick that whistled just wide before the break.
OL almost responded through Mathieu Valbuena, but the playmaker's effort could only find the crossbar before Alexandre Lacazette fired over.
Lacazette did have the ball in the net shortly after, but the France international's goal was ruled out for offside.
Angers made the result secure inside the final 10 minutes when Ndoye hit his second of the afternoon.
Angers now trail league leaders Paris Saint-Germain by 15 points.
