Antalyaspor have revealed that they are "so close" to signing another Barcelona legend, having recruited Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o recently.
Eto'o, who terminated his Sampdoria contract last month, signed for the Turkish club on Tuesday, while his former teammate at Camp Nou is expected to join him shortly - also a free transfer.
However, chairman Guntekin Gencer says that he is close to finalising a deal for yet another Blaugrana great, with speculation mounting that it is Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
He told A Spor: "We are planning to sign one more ex-Barcelona player of the calibre of Eto'o and Ronaldinho. I can say that an agreement is so close."
Valdes, 33, spent 12 years in the Catalans' senior team, ending his trophy-laden spell last summer with six Ligas, two Copa del Reys and three Champions League titles.
He signed an 18-month deal with the Old Trafford club in January but started only one game for the Red Devils.
