Argentina defender Martin Demichelis has revealed that he will retire from international duty after the Copa America.
The Manchester City centre-back, 34, says that he is in the twilight of his international career but hopes to go out with a bang.
"Whatever happens I will retire from the international team after the Copa America," he told Radio Rivadavia.
"It would be nice to end my career that began in 2005 by winning the title."
Demichelis has 44 caps for his country. The competition kicks off in Chile on June 11.
