Argentina's Joaquin Correa will not be at the World Cup as he has been forced to withdraw due to injury.
The Inter Milan forward was part of the Argentina squad that triumphed over Brazil in the Copa America final in 2021 and has four goals in 19 caps for his country.
However, the Argentinian FA have now confirmed that Correa has been forced to withdraw from the squad with a knee problem.
A replacement has already been named, with Atletico Madrid's Angel Correa being called up in place of the Inter man.
The injured Correa has never been a regular starter for his country having only started five of his 19 appearances to date, but he did score in the 5-0 warm-up game against the United Arab Emirates earlier this week.
Lionel Messi was also on target against the UAE, as Angel Di Maria secured a brace and Manchester City's Julian Alvarez rounded off the scoring.
Argentina get their World Cup campaign underway in Group C against Saudi Arabia on November 22, before facing Mexico and then Poland in their final game.
