Former Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Wimbledon striker Terry Gibson believes that tonight's World Cup final has all the credentials to be a "classic" encounter.
Some have raised concerns that with so much at stake, the two sides may cancel each other out in Rio de Janeiro.
However, Gibson, who has backed Argentina to overcome the Germans, has insisted that it could well be an entertaining match.
"Going for an Argentina win tonight. I just feel playing against a team full of confidence who will take the game to them will suit Messi and co," he wrote on Twitter. "Germany full of confidence & self belief (rightly so) will take the game to Arg. Will be the 1st time anyone has in this WC. Extra space for Arg.
"I really do believe this final could be a classic. Purely based on the 2 teams styles. Some great players involved and that's how it should be."
These two sides have met in two previous finals, winning one apiece.
