Alejandro Sabella has hailed Lionel Messi as the best player in the world following his match-winning goal against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Barcelona forward scored the second goal in his country's 2-1 win, and his manager was impressed by the impact that he made.
"Messi is the best player in the world, it's not as though he needs a lot of support but when he receives a boost from his team-mates there is no doubt that it empowers him even more to be the best player in the world," he told FIFA's official website.
"I think that whatever happens in this World Cup he is among the best players in the history of football."
Argentina face Iran in their second group match on Saturday.
