Ecuadorian outfit Barcelona SC host Argentinian side Velez Sarsfield for the second leg of their Copa Libertadores last-16 tie on Wednesday night.
The visitors take a narrow 1-0 advantage to the Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha, as they look to progress to the quarter-finals for the first time since 2012.

Even though Velez have looked strong defensively of late and kept a clean sheet in the first leg, Barcelona SC have shown their attacking qualities during this competition; and with goals needed to progress, we can see the hosts finding the net on Wednesday.

The two sides faced each other for the first time last week, with the Brazilians securing a narrow 1-0 victory against their Argentine counterparts in the first leg.

With Defensa y Justicia needing to score if they are to progress to the quarter-finals, the pressure is on them to take the game to Flamengo and make life difficult for the hosts.
However, Gaucho has had an instant impact at his new club, making the Scarlet-Black difficult to break down. The Brazilians will be keen to make amends for last season's elimination at this stage and we can see them securing another narrow victory on Thursday.

Argentinian sides Argentinos Juniors and River Plate will do battle in Buenos Aires on Thursday night in the second leg of their Copa Libertadores last-16 tie.
After drawing the first leg 1-1 last week, the hosts will be looking to reach only their second ever quarter-final, while the visitors are hoping to progress to their fifth in succession.
