The summer transfer window has now closed, with Arsenal pulling off one of the standout deals on deadline day.
The Gunners triggered the release clause of Thomas Partey to cap off a relatively busy summer which saw the likes of Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes join too, and attention will now begin to turn to January.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.
Saturday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Arsenal to sign Dominik Szoboszlai on initial loan in January?
Arsenal have reportedly hatched a new plan to try to beat RB Leipzig and Tottenham Hotspur to the signature of Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Hungary international continues to attract attention from top clubs across the globe, with Arsenal regarded as one of the favourites to land Szoboszlai's signature in January.
However, the Gunners are sure to be facing a battle for the 20-year-old's services, with a recent report suggesting that Leipzig had stolen a march on both North London clubs in the race for Szoboszlai.
Now, Football Insider claim that the Gunners are prepared to go toe-to-toe with Leipzig by striking a deal for Szoboszlai in January and allowing him to remain at Salzburg on loan until the summer.
Such a deal is supposedly what Leipzig had initially planned for the Hungary starlet, and while the report claims that Salzburg are still reluctant to sell Szoboszlai, it appears inevitable that he will move on soon.
The youngster is under contract with the Austrian champions until 2022, where he has amassed five goals and nine assists in all competitions from the left flank this season.
Manchester United 'closing in on Hakan Calhanoglu deal'
Manchester United are closing in on a future deal for AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu, according to transfer expert Christian Falk.
The Turkey international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for several weeks following his strong performances for the Rossoneri, where he boasts four goals and four assists in the current campaign.
Arsenal and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with a swoop for the 26-year-old, but Falk has claimed that negotiations between Calhanoglu and United are already at an advanced stage and a move to Manchester is edging ever closer.
Speaking to the Stretford Paddock Podcast, Falk said: "It's true and I think this will happen because last summer there will already talks with his agent. I don't know if you know but Juventus would have also have liked him last summer but he said 'no'.
"He said no because he already knew what would happen this summer with United. Talks are already very, very far at the moment and he'll be a free agent, so this transfer is very, very likely.
"He can be a good player if everything around him is working, then he can help United. He's not the kind of player that if something went wrong he'd say 'now we have to fight'.
"He's a technical player, perhaps it is Pogba to show him the way. Then I feel like he could do it at United."
Calhanoglu is currently in the final year of his contract with Milan, although the Italian giants are supposedly attempting to tie him down to a new deal.
