The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Arsenal eye possible reinforcements.
The Gunners spent more than many expected last summer - most notably their club-record purchase of Nicolas Pepe - but were more reserved in January as they focused on bolstering their defensive options.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.
Sunday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Arsenal 'complete deal for Gabriel Magalhaes'
Arsenal have reportedly won the battle for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes, with the Brazilian set to fly to London next week to officially complete a move.
The 22-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent days amid suggestions that Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City had all joined the Gunners in the race.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal to take Gabriel to the Emirates Stadium 'is finally done', and he will head to London on Monday to sign a five-year contract with Mikel Arteta's side.
Taking to Twitter to reveal the news, Romano claims that the Premier League giants will pay €30m (£27m), including add-ons, for the South American, with an official announcement due to arrive next week.
Gabriel made 34 appearances for his Ligue 1 side last term, including six outings in the Champions League.
Arsenal have also recently completed the signing of Brazilian attacker Willian on a free transfer from Chelsea as the club prepare for the start of the 2020-21 Premier League season.
Napoli to move for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi?
Napoli have reportedly identified Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi as a potential transfer target.
With Kalidou Koulibaly being tipped to leave Stadio San Paolo this summer, Napoli are in need of a replacement for their star player at the back.
Although Gabriel Magalhaes has been heavily linked with a switch to Naples, it appears that the Brazilian will ultimately link up with Arsenal.
However, journalist Ciro Venerato suggests that Gennaro Gattuso views Mustafi as an ideal alternative if they lose out for the Lille man.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Venerato said: "Until September 5, the French want to wait for the Azzurri, the price of the card is around €25m (£22.5m), everything could jump if the boy accepts another team.
"If Gabriel fades? At that point Napoli will turn to a plan B, in addition to Sokratis [Papastathopoulos], there is also talk of Mustafi, also coming out of Arsenal.
"Another name, an old scouting obsession would be [Jean-Clair] Todibo of Barcelona."
Arsenal and Barcelona are both open to offers for Sokratis and Todibo, likely for a lower fee than Mustafi.
