Arsenal assistant manager Steve Bould has revealed his delight at the improved form shown by Gervinho at the beginning of this season.
The Ivorian forward scored his fifth goal of the current campaign in Arsenal's victory over Olympiakos on Wednesday night and Bould has predicted that there is more to come from the 25-year-old after a difficult first year in the Premier League.
"He is scoring goals so his confidence is sky high," said Bould. "He is a danger with his pace and movement - he could be a top player."
"His link play is gradually improving. I think he has set Santi [Cazorla] up quite a few times over the last few games.
"Good players can play anywhere - left, right, centre forward. He is scoring goals and improving with every game."
Gervinho's strike on Wednesday means that he has already overtaken his tally from last season.
