Kieran Gibbs believes that Arsenal's recent victories in the Premier League will give the Gunners momentum as they head into their Champions League second-leg clash with AC Milan.
The North London side have to overturn a 4-0 deficit to reach the quarter-finals of the elite competition.
The Gunners managed to stage a 5-2 comeback against arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur and clinch a 2-1 win over Liverpool against the run of play last weekend.
"The whole team was quite hurt by the first leg. This gives us a great opportunity to get a sense of pride back," said Gibbs.
"A defeat like that, and the following one at Sunderland, can knock you a bit. We have shown fantastic mentality to come back in the last couple of games and have created a momentum now and would like to continue that.
"We have to believe otherwise there is no point in being here. If they can beat us 4-0, then why can't we do the same? We have to create a faultless performance and get a good balance between attacking and defending."
Arsenal host the Italian giants at the Emirates tonight.
