Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has urged his side to maintain their momentum after they extended their unbeaten streak to 15 matches against Ludogorets Razgrad this evening.
The Gunners came from two goals down in Sofia to book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with two matches to spare, with Giroud netting the equalising goal for Arsene Wenger's side.
The Frenchman was making his first start of the season, and hopes to help the team keep up their current form as they look to challenge on all fronts this term.
"I am pleased for the team, it was a great delivery from Aaron [Ramsey] for my goal," he told reporters.
"I was in the stands at the Emirates in the reverse fixture and they impressed me a lot, so we knew it wouldn't be easy tonight. But we never gave up and we keep trusting in our game, it's a good evening for us.
"We are in a strong run, we want to carry on our momentum even though it is early in the season."
Giroud has now scored three goals in his last two appearances, having also netted a brace against Sunderland at the weekend.
