Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has revealed that he was "happy" for Jack Wilshere to get on the scoresheet during Wednesday's Champions League victory over Montpellier.
Wilshere opened the scoring in the 2-0 win with his first goal for the team since November 2010 following a lengthy absence through injury.
"I'm very happy because Jack lost more than a year with injury," Koscielny told the club's official website.
"He's a very good player. He's young and has a long career in front of him. He played well for the team and it's good he scored."
Wednesday's victory has secured the Gunners' place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
