Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he is relieved the Gunners have a chance to bounce back against Schalke on Wednesday.
Arsene Wenger's side slipped to their second defeat of the season last weekend in a disappointing display against Norwich City.
Ramsey thinks that the best way to respond is with a strong performance against the German giants in the Champions League.
He told the club's official website: "When you have an upset you want to get back out there as quickly as possible to put things right.
"We know we weren't good enough on the day to win the [Norwich] game. We had been doing really well this season and in each game we felt like we were growing with confidence, so that was definitely an upset.
"Hopefully we can turn things around as quickly as possible. That is what we hope to do against Schalke, and it will put us in a really strong position in this group."
The Gunners can go five points clear of their Group B rivals with a victory against Schalke at the Emirates.
