Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has claimed that the Arsenal squad are suffering from a lack of "big personalities" in their dressing room.
The Gunners opened their Champions League campaign with a 2-1 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday, and Ferdinand told BT Sport that the squad have no leaders.
Ferdinand said: "The most worrying thing for me is does anyone dig anyone out in that dressing room?
"Does Arsene Wenger [criticise his players]? I don't believe he does and that's a big worry for me. To win titles and leagues, you need big personalities like that."
Arsenal return to action when they travel to Chelsea on Saturday lunchtime.
