Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has described Borussia Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski as one of the most "dangerous" strikers in Europe ahead of Tuesday's Champions League encounter between the teams.
The Gunners, who currently lead Group F after two matches, welcome last season's finalists to the Emirates Stadium.
Szczesny expects his fellow Poland international to be one of Dortmund's main threats during the match, but he has confidence in the Arsenal defence to deal with the forward.
"Certainly Lewandowski is one of the best you can find in Europe so he will be dangerous, but we played against them before and we've handled him quite well so I hope we can do that again," he told reporters.
"Me and Robert are very good friends, we speak on a daily basis and he's excited to come here, I'm excited to play against him and it will be a good challenge. We will forget the friendship for now and I'm sure it will be fine after the game."
Dortmund come into the match in third place in the Group F standings.
