Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his side's 0-0 draw with Besiktas in the first leg of their Champions League playoff was a "fair result".
Both teams failed to break the deadlock in Turkey on Tuesday night, though the Gunners were forced to play the final 10 minutes with 10 men following Aaron Ramsey's sending-off.
"Maybe a draw is a fair result because both teams had chances to win the game," Wenger told the club's official website.
"We know Besiktas are a good team. We know the game will be certainly tight again, but we play at home. The task is clear for us, we want to win the game."
Arsenal continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they travel to Everton.
