Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised his side's 2-1 win away at Anderlecht in the Champions League this evening, claiming that the chance to get through Group D is now in the Gunners' hands.
Andy Najar scored in the second half to leave the Belgian outfit on the verge of a famous win, but late goals by Kieran Gibbs and Lukas Podolski snatched all three points for the North London outfit.
Wenger told reporters after the game: "[The win] was vital for us to have a chance to qualify. We are in a strong position now. It's down to us now. Win our home games and we are through.
"It's a frustrating part of our job to fight for the final seconds. When you have the ball and you don't score or win the games the confidence drops so it was important for us to win.
"The group is in our hands. Let's first qualify and see how far we can go."
Arsenal are second in Group D, five points ahead of Anderlecht and Galatasaray.
