Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is unlikely to hand Theo Walcott his first start of the season in his side's Champions League clash against Anderlecht.
The 25-year-old played for the first time for the Gunners since January in their 3-0 win over Burnley in the final 12 minutes of the match, after stepping up his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
However, Wenger has revealed that he is not ready to gamble with Walcott's fitness in their matchup against the Belgian side.
He told reporters: "I have not made that decision yet but would I tell, yes, 100% now? Certainly not. I'm not ruling it out, but I do not want to make a big mistake."
Arsenal face Anderlecht in their Group D clash on Tuesday at the Emirates Stadium.
