Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky will reportedly miss the beginning of the Premier League season after undergoing an Achilles operation.
The 31-year-old, who suffered the problem with the Czech Republic at Euro 2012, is expected to be out of action for at least a month.
He has not travelled with the Gunners on their pre-season tour of the Far East, while Bacary Sagna is also expected to miss the beginning of the season.
Arsenal open up their league season against Sunderland on August 18.
