Theo Walcott has admitted that he is "disappointed" not to have been included in Roy Hodgson's England squad for Euro 2016.
The 27-year-old was omitted from the 26-man provisional squad, with Andros Townsend seemingly being preferred.
Walcott has struggled to cement a regular place in Arsenal's team this season, and missed the final day of the Premier League campaign on Sunday due to a hamstring problem.
After the squad was announced, Walcott tweeted: "I am of course disappointed not to make the squad, but I have spoken with Roy and respect his decision.
"I wish Roy and all the team the best of luck for a successful Euros."
Three players in the 26-man squad will be dropped before the start of the tournament next month.
